I downloaded the 3186 u/g this morning, install went fine until I got to the installing Parallels tools part. Following the directions on the Parallels site, I uninstalled the previous version of the tools from Windows and then began installing the 3186 version of the tools which promptly hung and failed to finish. After sending an email to support and following the directions twice from support emails I received from support, I'm still in the same situation. The 3186 install begins to start booting WinXP, hangs up, screen turns black, and then just sits there. WinXP won't start in safe mode either which was one of the suggestions I received. I then uninstalled the 3186 build and attempted to revert to the prior copy of 1970 which was working fine until this morning and now that wont install either from my saved dmg file , an error message comes up saying "Nothing to install!" The only items that appear to remain from my last working install are the WinXP.pvs and disk1.hdd files. After my last report that the install still wasn't working, I haven't heard word one from Parallels support. I simply need an install that works and gets my VM running again. Anyone have any suggestions? Mac Pro 2Gb Memory OSX 10.4.7
