Installed 3150 and ran the Xp drivers for Mac as suggested by Tim Surgent. Now there is no iSight under the drop down box for USB. Prior to installing the drivers again, it was there but it didnt work. Now after installing the drivers, its gone !!! Any ideas ???
I did the drivers install too, but got the "not compatible with this hardware" error at the end of the install, so no sign of iSight in applications. But it does still appear in the USB menu. Selecting it from that menu shows an error dialog saying that the device is in use by another program. That remains true even if I quit all other programs.
I saw that before installing the drivers - and after the drivers were installed, the iSight strangely disappeared from the Devices menu under USB.....very weird.....
Any ideas on my variation? I've never lost iSight from the USB menu, and it continues to work in iChat. But I get the hardware not supported error when installing the Boot Camp drivers, and if I select iSight from the USB menu I get a message telling me that the device is in use by something else, even when no programs are running.
