2X Printing and Crystal Reports

I have encountered an issue with using 2X's Universal Print Driver when trying to print from Crystal Reports from the terminal server.

When 2X tries to convert the Crystal Reports document (.rpt file type) into a PDF to stream to the client, the content of the document becomes distorted. In particular, the resulting PDF has large ares of solid black where before there were tables on the original document.

Please let me know if there are plans to support printing from Crystal Reports. Thank you.

When a print job is done with the 2X Universal Printer some files are stored int the following folder:

c:\document and settings\USERNAME\LocaSettings\Temp\SavedJob

USERNAME should be replaced with the name of the user who made the printjob.

Please send a copy of these files where the printout is corrupted to 2X Support.

They will give a look at these files and solve your issue.

We were able to resolve this problem on our end by changing the background color of tables from a grayscale color value to white. Grayscale color always converts to solid black when converting to PDF.
