Hi, I have been using 2x for a while now but never understood the use of the web access portal. (don't shoot me !) The user has to have the 2x client to use it, but once you have the 2x client...you're connected to the farm. I use the client with hostnames. Primary server : gateway01.domain.com Secondary server : gateway02.domain.com Internally my dns server translates the hostnames to my gatewayservers. Externally (user on public internet) the adress is known and forwarded to my firewall which listens to port 82 and forwards the requests to my primary gateway (seconday not possible cause can't filter on http) Could you guys give me some scenarios in which you can use the web portal.
