Hi, I have a 24" IMac running Parallels. I've had it running with Parallels for some time and recently upgraded to 3186. I have several different VM's (one for Accounting, one for development, etc). Ever since I upgraded to 3186, I load the Development VM which works fine (I've allocated 1GB to it) but then after a few minutes my Accounting VM starts BY ITSELF! This is allocated 768Mb, and i only have a 2GB machine, so you can imagine what happens with a 2GB machine and two Parallels VM's running at the same time! Things get very very slow as memory is obviously swapped out to disk, and eventually I can shutdown a VM and eventually things return to normal. But then the VM can start by itself again, and the same thing happens. It's taks a long frustrating time before I can close down at least one of the VM, and OS X becomes quite unresponsive probably because of the lack of memory available. A second VM will only even start by itself if Parallels is already running, so it's a not a scheduled task, or anything like that, and if I only load my Accounting VM a second VM will not get loaded, so it's obviously a setting somewhere that is causing the Accounting VM to load when another is already started. I took a look at both PVS files, but cannot see anything that looks obviously wrong, and looking at Preferences within Parallels cannot see anything that would be causing this. Has anyone else got this problem or can anyone please tell me how to fix it? Maybe I am somehow accidentally invoking keystrokes to start the 2nd VM, but can't seem to work out how this woulde be possible. Thanks Tim
