    Hi,

I upgraded from 2.2 beta Workstation to 2.2 build 2092 (latest release). After the installation process I was asked to reboot my Windows XP Pro (running on a Pentium 4 1.6 GHz).

After the login I got the following error in a small dialog box:
What's wrong with this? I had the same error when installing the 2.2 beta before, but did not take much notice of it because of the beta state.

Now this messag appears again. Is there anything wrong or will I even encounter any problems later?

Could you try unistall previous version and install new one from the scratch?

    Hi Andrew,

I uninstalled Workstation (2092) completely, did not reboot since I was not told to do so, installed 2092 again and rebooted.

The same message appears right after the Windows logon again. If this error does not have any effect than I've got no problem with it either, but IMO someone else will surely ask for its purposes.

BTW I've tried this (w/o uninstalling a previous full version) on an AMD 64 processor machine, too and it happened there also.

I uninstalled completely, rebooted, and then re-installed. Still all the same problems as before.

I have an AMD Turion MT30 64, however I have OpenSuSE 10.1 installed in 32 bit mode. I just thought I'd mention that, though I can't see how it should make any difference, as Parallels has worked fine with all previous versions.

    I have the same problem

I had the version 2.2 build 2072, so I downloaded the 2.2 build 2092 ( I wish I never did) when I tried to install the build 2092, the installation process froze. Then I rebooted, the current version currently installed got corrupted. Then I booted in the safe mode and tried to install it there, same problem. I deleted the registry keys and tried to reinstall again both build 2072 and 2092, I wasn't able to install. Then I went back to 2.1 I was finally able to install 2.1. Then I tried to upgraded to 2.2 again, same problem. It seems like there is a bug in the 2.2 version either build 2072 or 2092.

PS: I am running Win XP sp2
