I installed 1940 Beta, ok that worked. Then I started Windows in VM. A Message reminded me to update Parallels tools. Ok, normal (I thought). I selected VM-> Install Parallels Tools ... nothing happened. :-( Ok then I deinstalled the tools first, and restarted the system. Now I tried it again, and again nothing happened. :-((( I tried it several times (including several reboots - you know...windows) but no success. Thanks god i made a backup ;-) 1922 Beta works fine (again) Any suggestions how to get the tools work under 1940?
Try right clicking the cd Icon in Parallels (not in XP, but in the Parallels window) and select "Connect Image" then navigate to /Library/Parallels/Tools and sleect the vmtools.iso this should appear as a loaded cd in XP from where you should be able to run the setup file.
THX now it works. But why does the "menu-version" not? It worked all Versions before... OK it's BETA I know ...
