I'm pretty disappointed with the 3.0 update. My MBP would always crawl when starting up WinXP, and run MS apps slowly overall, but it was in the acceptable range...more importantly for my work, Fedora Core 6 has always run smoothly under Parallels. Now when I run my FC6 VM, CPU usage spikes to 100% or greater, even when the virtual machine is not doing anything, or is only doing something trivial like having a terminal window open. I don't know what the issue is, but I'm looking at other VM hosting options at this point. Updates should not decrease performace, you know?
