This boot flag seems to work for me as well. However, would like to know what I'm losing by setting it.
What is the purpose of setting this flag? Will it disable the use of certain USB devices?
Also having this issue. I disabled web cam and bluetooth devices but not USB 3.0. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit image. MBP Retina 2012 running OS 10.8.4....
I went ahead and tested with 18345 and it looks to be fixed. Hope it works for others.

Got support from Parallels and they escalated it. Not sure when they will fix it. Temporary workaround is to disable 3D acceleration in the VM...

I am having crashes with my Windows 7 VM after this update as well. In particular if I try to open DB2 Control Center it immediately crashes....
