Great! I know what I'm doing tonight, Big Sur upgrade!!
We will need PD to support OpenGL 4.5 for this one I think.
What was the result with =3? Does the construction lines look ok with the bootflag fix on Big Sur? I really need to know for sure, I will not...
OK, the construction line problem is my biggest issue actually. The bootflag fix does work with 16.1.1 on Catalina but does it work on Big Sur?...
The release notes for 16.1.1 states "Resolves an issue with graphics artifacts in SOLIDWORKS 2020". The Solidworks 2020 graphics bug is still...
Update: The 16.1.1 does NOT fix the graphics bug. I have to use the bootflag fix.
Anyone tried the PD 16.1.1 release on Big Sur and Solidworks 2020? The release notes states "Resolves an issue with graphics artifacts in...
@Maria@Parallels Any official comment about Big Sur and the video.gl3=x fix?
That is a huge problem!! And afaik PD + W10x64 VM will not work on Apples M1. Parallels is dead as far as I'm concerned.
Should it be video.gl3=2 not =0 that was previously stated? Does this fix work on Big Sur?
+1
See this thread I created. I have downgraded to PD15 so I can't do what they ask :/ (regarding OpenGL apps)....
Sorry, but I have downgraded to PD15 now to be able to work. Maybe someone else having this problem can help you out. //L
Hi. Updated to PD16 and now Solidworks 2020 (the only reason I use Parallels) is acting up. Lines in sketches is not displayed correctly and this...
PS. Solidworks use OpenGL afaik, I found this in the PD blog about PD15: Note: Since OpenGL is still in macOS Mojave and macOS Catalina, Windows...
Hi! Same issue with Solidworks 2020 and sketch lines (especially construction lines). I have checked the registry and all the "fixes" is there, if...
... and here is why. MacOS is wrong, Parallels is right :)
On a hunch I tested w/ the MacOS display set to "scaled" and "bigger text", then the VM thinks that 2560x1600 is the recommended resolution. But...
That did not help. That mode does exactly what it is supposed to do, i.e. set a lower resolution (1440x900) and scale it to fit the screen. Today...
Hi. Is it only me that get 2880x1800 as "Recommended" resolution on MBA Retina 2018 (v.14.1.0 + W10)? The native resolution on the MBA Retina is...
