Well, it's apparently possible, *but*... A colleague has apparently installed Solaris 10U1, but I'm getting this same error with Solaris Nevada...
Solution? entering /dev/rdisk1 has worked for me for installing XP straight from the CD, and boots the Solaris Nevada DVD. Still can't *install*...
