    Solved Okay, so perhaps I didn't rtfm. Installed the tools (with the VM/OS running) and everything is fine now. Thanks for the pointers, folks.

    Umm, no. Wasn't aware that I had to install it. It's grayed outon my VM. Is that because I'm running the trial version? Don't mind paying for it...
