I used to be able to resize the width and height of my VM by simply clicking on the right/left or top/bottom by clicking and dragging. For some reason I cannot do that anymore. I am running Parallels 9.

I installed PD 9 this am. I use AOL IM in the Windows virtual machine. Every time someone sends me a message, the icon "bounces" up and down in the System Tray on the Mac until I click on the AOL IM. Is there any way to disable it so it does not bounce?

This is terribly disappointing that there has been no response or help to this issue. I am now also noticing that on some Windows programs in the command boxes that several sub-boxes such as Save, Cancel, etc. do not show up. Come on Parallels - do paying customers deserve this?

Is anyone aware of a remote backup service that includes the virtual machine when backing up - I have not had any luck finding one.

You want to delete the Windows Application folder from the dock on the Apple side. From the Parallels Desktop menu, select Virtual Machine/Configure/Options/Applications and uncheck the Show Windows applications folder in Dock. Then reboot although not necessary.

Here's something interesting since upgrading to PD 6 - whenever Time Machine does a backup, the size is 3.63 GB and it keeps eating up more space on my Time Capsule. Running 2.66GHz i7 with 8GB of RAM. OS X 10.6.4.
