    In fact, I can confirm the same issue occurs in my Windows 8.1 guest as well. The same wifi dongles push CPU utilisation to the max.

    I have the same problem. It happens to my Ubuntu guest OS. If I plug in a TL-WN822N or a TL-WN722N, CPU maxes out. If I plug in a WG111, it calms...
