    Developer here. Installed the GM on a iMac 2011, got this message after installing: "Parallels Desktop" would like to access your contacts....

    Full-screen app mode in Lion

    I completely agree. While the new desktop will work for now, I would like to see the implementation of this feature sometime in the near future!
