Try this. boot into safe mode. My Computer C:/Windows open the prefetch folder delete all the files in this folder. re-boot this might help

I am using 2020 Design 6.4 quite well using Parallels. It is quick and responsive. I am pleased with its performance. I have not tried version 8.

Thanks for the info. The trouble is that I also set Parallels to close when the VM closes. I am still not able to reset the flags. neal
