Ok thanks for the tip, I don't know how they are formatted, I just plug them in but they work on mac and PC.
No tried various different usb sticks, external hd, idisk and it just won't copy, whatever I try and move it to I get the same error but the pvm...
I have just got a new macbook and trying to move the .pvm file from my old mac but it won't copy on to any usb device, I just get an error code 0...
