    Hi All,

I got a some WMAs I want to play and the obvious choice is using Vista through parallels. However, is there any loss in sound quality because windows media is being emulated? (In which case I'll use boot camp) I'm a bit of an audiophile so I am concerned with any quality loss. Is it a pure digital signal being sent to my speakers?

    Thanks

I don't know if there is a small sound quality drop, I usually would just use Windows Media for OS X if I need to play a .wma, and thus never use Parallels for sound for high-quality sound (no, the Windows symphony on start-up doesn't count as high quality. ;) ).

The best thing to do is just try it out and see.
