USB....It won't be seen

    hey...
    i've been trying to figure out why i can't find my external HD...i'm using windows XP on my VM and when i put my WD hard drive it makes the sound so that i know its connected but when i try to find the drive on the VM its no where to be found... can anyone help me with this problem...

    Oh yeah my computer info.... MacBook OS X 10.4, 2.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Hello Yue_yuki,

    In Parallels Desktop menu bar click Devices and choose the external HD from the list - you are supposed to see it in the Guest OS then.
