Hello, I've had Parallels installs for a bit now and all of a sudden, when I try to reboot or shut down the guest OS, it stops at the blue scree after "saving your settings" and just stays there indefinitely. I am running the latest version of Parallels on OS X v. 10.4.11.

Anyone have any idea why this happens and how to fix it?

Any chance it is a virus?

No, not really at all. After I installed Windows, it sat on a shelf for a while so no one has used it and and it was a fresh build when I put it on the shelf.

It is not a blue screen of death..just the regular blue screen that shows in windows just before normal shutdown.

And it seems to happen only when the network connection is active.

That makes it sound even more like a virus. What does a fresh install do?
