    Hi,
I'm new here and don't know if this has been asked before but here goes
During my work (I am a programmer for a German Computer Company) my Ethernet and Wireless Connections are both activated and connected to different subnets.
Whem I start Parallels with either XP or Vista, I don't have a network connection until I disconnect one of the connections.
Has anybody experienced this and if so is there a solution?

    Another connection problem (different description)

After being away for a long (11 day trip), I have come back and found that Internet Explorer is unable to connect to the internet.

I've tried reverting to previous, working configurations of Parallels, but no luck. Here's what happens.

When trying to connect to any website, I end up with a message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." There's an error warning (yellow triangle with exclamation point) stating:
    Windows - Corrupt File
The file or directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\mfc42u.dll is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility."

There's another dialog box with the title
xpnetdiag.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application failed to start because MFC42u.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I am a Mac person and totally PC/Windoze illiterate. What application would they want me to reinstall?

I'm fed up with Windows, but unfortunately I think I'm stuck with it. Can you please post a simple utility that we can stick on our Windows desktop that you can just double-click to fix problems like these?
