Hi, I have had problems today with PD as it does not recognise the virtual hard drive. I have used help on this forum and it fixed the problem for three hours but now the problem has returned. Can you help?

In addition, PD bombs out every 20 minutes or so when I use Quark and Photoshop together. Is there any way to stop this from happening as I've been losing work frequently as the software doesn't provide any impending notice of its intentions?

Any help would be appreciated. The Apple is the latest desktop model and PD is the latest version.

    Thanks

It sounds like something got corrupted. Can you browse your .hdd file with Parallels Explorer? I would get your data out of the disk and then create a new VM.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried to do this by opening the various windows related to Parallels Explorer but they cannot connect to the virtual disks saying they're corrupted. I am not 100% familiar how to manage this - could you please provide me your expertise?

It sounds like the data is corrupted then. Go into the last Back-up you have, then copy that data to your OS X side and start fresh.
