    Hi,

I had used Parallels Desktop a year ago and then stopped. I now need to run Windows in order to use Qimage to print. I am using a MacPro running Tiger OS 10.4.11 with 6GB RAM. I used the Parallels conversion utility to upgrade the old .HDD file from the earlier version of Parallels and it seems to have worked.

I would like to know how to best configure this installation so that is most secure... IE: the Win XP is well isolated from the Mac side of the house and can not read data from or write data to my Mac. I am planning on doing all my photo work on the Mac side of the house and transferring files to be printed via 4GB USB 2.0 Flash drive into Qimage running in Windows XP which will be connected to my Epson 3800 via USB 2.0.

I have noticed a lot of new tools and Parallels 3.0 seems to be more closely integrated with the Mac OS than in earlier versions.

What is the best way to configure Parallels for maximum security?

If I set Parallels up so that I can see Qimage on my Mac desktop (how is this done?) does this compromise the system security?

How well does Parallels play with OSX 10.5.2?

How does Parallels 3.0 compare with VM Fusion?

Turn the security all the way up inside the configuration window.
