After parallels installation, using bootcamp partition (windows activated) , windows ask me again to be activate.
Is there some tips to force parallels to use previous activation ?
    thanks.

    Hello Angelo666,

Why don't you use your activation key?

    Best regards,

because , once activated under bootcamp, validation code is unusable some more times.

Ah, sorry, I missed the fact it's Windows asking you to activate. Please ask Microsoft Support - they will give you the activation key again as they are aware of the issue.

    Hello Angelo666,

Windows activation does not normally needed each time you create Boot Camp VM. It usually happens just once.

Could you please describe in details what you do before being asked to activate?

Anyway, if you copy your Boot Camp MAC address in your Virtual Machine MAC address field (Configuration Editor -> Network Adapter -> Advanced), you won't probably be asked to activate again.

    Angelo: Just to maybe clarify:

The issue that you are having is that you sell many Apple computers with Windows installed in bootcamp and Parallels and for each computer you sell you have to call Microsfot to get them to activate the installation in Parallels Desktop, and you would like Parallels to make it so that Windows does not have to be activated twice (once in bootcamp and once in Parallels) per machine you sell.

Am I correct in saying this is the issue you are having?

yes, that's not totally right, to clarify it, the most cases we meet, are switching users : consumers already have their mac including windows under bootcamp and ask us to switch them to parallels.

    Hello Angelo666 and Unused_user_name,

Unfortunately we cannot circumvent Windows activation this way and the best thing we were able to implement is to make Windows activate only twice (in Boot Camp and in VM). But if I remember correctly - generally new retail Windows installation has some number of built-in allowed re-activations, so the problem shouldn't occur for every customer who switches to Parallels.

    Best regards,

I just installed paralells for the first time on top of a Boot Camp installation and the first time I was asked to authenticate win xp pro I got a message that win couldn't find a connection. That kept happening after several restarts, then I tried restarting my Mac and tried to activate and on that one I was informed by microsoft that this copy of windows had already been activated too many times. As far as I know, it had only been successfully activated once in Boot Camp. Now what?
