From what I can see browsing thru the posts, it appears that some USB equipment works and some doesn't. In hopes that my joystick is one of the ones that works, and maybe I just don't have something set right, perhaps someone could point me to some more information.

I am trying to run the Microsoft Flight Sim DEMO on Parallels with WindowsXP. Flight Sim appears to run just fine, but it doesn't recognize my Saitek Aviator joystick.

Anyone else have experience with this?

The MS Flight sim is a directX 9.0c based graphic game.

Parallel only supports directX 8.1, won't work correctly. Don't even bother.

You might want to try x-plane, it will run natively on the mac

    Thanks.

I use X-plane all the time. Just thought I'd check out the competition.
