Hi, I've downloaded the update to Parallels to 5568 and still can't load Visio. The error is "Setup cannot find the required setup controller file."

It's the only Windows program I need to run. Big client!

    Anyone help?

    Hello Ruth,

This seems to be Windows issue. Please have a look at this article.

    Best regards,
    Xenos

    Try the Device Settings

Check the setting of Devices > CD/DVD-ROM > Connect to Default. If it is not enabled you'll get the same error message.

    Same Problem, SOLVED!

Had the same problem installing MS office 2007 on Parallels 4 running Vista Ultimate. Tried installing from a directory I had moved to the Mac for faster access. Did not work. Moved same directory using windows under parallels. Did not work. Then: Used the network directory while still on the server. Worked, if slower. My suggestion is if you have another computer to "serve" the files from, just do that (because everyone has a spare file server, right?). Otherwise see if you can burn it to a disk (i make no promises that this will work, but it seems like the files just dont work locally, even though the files are exactly the same in either directory).

    Cheers!
