I use an application called Agendus from Iambic (on both my Palm Treo and my Parallels Windows XP instance). It allows me to integrate the calendar, task list, etc. Anyways, when I modify a record in the Windows application and save it, I get an dialogue that says "ParallelsToolsC.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart this program. An error log is being created.". I am running Build 5584. This also happened on the last build that I had installed (I update pretty regularly, so it was probably 5582).
Hi Stacey, I re-installed the Parallel Tools and received the same result. Is there an error log that you would like me to attach? Thanks, RayH : -)
Hi Stacey, I tried your recommended changes, but it would not let me make the VM Memory 768 unless I make the Parallels Desktop->Memory 868. So, I made the Parallels Desktop->Memory 868 and the VM->Memory 768. This made Parallels not die. However, it still gives me the dialogue that "ParallelsToolsC.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart this program. An error log is being created." Please let me know what other information I can provide to you to resolve this. Prior to this issue, I have not had problems with Parallels and am sure that you can resolve this quickly so that I do not have to resolve to using Boot Camp. Thanks, RHendrey
Moving on to vmware Hi, I have heard no reply since my last post on 02-24-2008. The problem has not gotten better on its own. I tried VMWare Fusion. It does not have this problem. So, I am switching to that product. It is a shame that there has been no activity on this complaint. Sincerely, RayH :-(
