I am running Leopard Mac OSX 10.5.1 with Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5582 and Windows XP. I occasionally tether my AT&T MOTO Q 9h via Bluetooth on the Mac side using a 3G modem script.

I have tried to share the connection with Windows XP. I have tried both Shared Networking and Host-only Networking but have had no luck.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone tethering their phones on the Mac side and successfully sharing with the Guest OS?

Perhaps, I need to Bluetooth tether the phone on the Guest OS side?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Get the internet working on OS X, then just use Shared Networking.

    Is there an answer?

Did anyone ever answer this question? I connect to the internet via Bluetooth using my Sprint Blackberry 8830 Worldphone. The connection works fine in Mac OS X 10.5, but when I start Parallels (with shared networking enabled), Windows says it has limited or no connectivity, and I can't connect via IP or HTTP.

I have the same issue. I can connect to the internet just fine on the Mac side to my mobile phone using Bluetooth DUN. However, even when I select "shared networking" on parallels using WinXP, I cannot get to that internet connection.
