I installed windows vista on the parallels software and it runs normal so far.
But, I can't connect with the internet or with mac OS. maybe I just don't know what to do. So please help me! Oh, if I check connection in the network overview of mac it says i was connected to parallels.
    Please help!
    Thanks

    Hello,

please provide me with the following screenshots:
    1. Open 'Confoguration Editor' of your VM ('Edit' -> 'Virtual Machine') - > 'Network Adapter' tab.
    2. Open 'System Preferences' of your Mac, select 'Network' and choose 'Show' -> 'Network Status'.

    Best regards,
    Stacey

In 'Configuration Editor' of your VM try to set 'Emulation' to 'Shared Networking' or to 'Bridged Ethernet'. Will it help?

    Best regards,
    Stacey

    hello,
no, I tried that already. In the meanwhile I got a connection to the mac but still no connection to the web. Might this be because I am not directly connected to the internet but again via a network. I am using the internet as part of a university network via ethernet.
Windows says it can't connect to the internet but once you click 'problem solving' it says there is no problem and it should work properly. but it doesn't.
    Thanks

    Hello,

please try to uninstall the network adapter in Device Manager in Windows and run "Scan for Hardware Changes". Will it help?

    Best regards,
    Stacey

    :-( No, didn't help.
It still says, I should have a connection but the again the explorer or whatever program can't use the internet.
Any other ideas? I really need this running!
    thanks

    emilia1000,
please one more time provide me with a screenshot of 'System Preferences' of your Mac -> 'Network'. The window, where 'Parallels NAT' is listed.

    Best regards,
    Stacey

    Hi,
here are the screenshots. I took one of each tab. Might I have to fill in the same information I had to fill in the ethernet connection for connection my mac regularly with the internet?
