Hey guys, maybe you can help me with this problem... A lot of times, I don't shut off my computer and just put it to sleep. I'll bring my macbook pro from home to work. I'm able to just hook my computer up to the ethernet and monitor, etc. But when I go to start up Parallels, it can't find the boot image or disk image, or something like that. I need to restart in order for Parallels to start up Windows. Sometimes, I will have worked in Parallels. I'll shut down Windows and exit Parallels. If I go to start Parallels up again later in the day, I'll have the same problem and have to restart my computer in order for Windows to start. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!
Hello, do you receive any error messages? If so, could you please provide me with the screenshots of them? Best regards, Stacey
Hi Stacey, Are you suggesting that I delete the current profile/configuration for boot camp and then create another one? Thanks, Kristian
Kristian, please do the following: 1. Open your Boot Camp virtual machine but do not start it. 2. Open 'Configuration Editor' ('Edit' -> 'Virtual Machine'). 3. Select 'Hard Disk' tab. 4. In the 'hard disk' settings pane, click the 'Advanced' tab. 5. In the 'Cleanup Boot Camp Partition' area, click the 'Clear' button. 6. Try to create a new VM via 'File' -> 'New'. Best regards, Stacey
