Hi everyone I'm new to these forums and I've been browsing around for a couple of months without being registered and have finally decided to do so today because of a problem that has occurred. I saw before the copy and paste problem from Mac to Windows and found out an update was released. However as I have downloaded this update, the .dmg file will not extract and if I try to open it through Parallels, it freezes up and I am forced to shut it down. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? If you do I'd greatly appreciate your responses.

Hello, did you use an auto-update or download the .dmg file directly from our web-site? I'm sorry you got this issue, please, try to download the .dmg file from here. Please, write me back if you still have problems with updating your Parallels Desktop.
Can't download purchased version I, too, am having problems downloading v3.0. I had installed a trial version of 2.0 a couple months ago. I went ahead and purchased v3.0 last night. I originally tried to update my v2.0 through Parallels Desktop software (under Help menu) by inputing my Activation #, but it wouldn't take me to the download page (it just stalled). After reading some forum entries, I decided to uninstall v2.0. Now I'm following the link on my confirmation (of purchase) email. At best, the download gets to about 8% and then stalls. If I step away from my computer while it's downloading...I always come back (10 minutes later) to find the download supposedly finished. But when I click on the .dmg file it says it can't mount the drive. I can't get any access to this program that I've purchased (for download). Should I reinstall v2.0 (I still have the .dmg/zipped file for that one saved) and then upgrade through that? BTW, when I installed v2.0, I was running OS X 10.4. I'm now running 10.5. pribby
Hello, pribby, please, try to download version 3.0 (build 5584) from here, then perform a fresh install of it and activate the program with your key. Just in case, I've sent you your license key for the full 3.0 version via PM. Please, write me back if you still experience problems.
