I run Parallels on my Mac for one reason; to run Quicken for Windows. Thus, I keep Windows 11 up to date with Microsoft updates, I don't add other apps or extensions to my Windows 11 setup. However, most of the time when I'm in Windows, the responsiveness to keystrokes or mouse clicks can be seconds long. Trying to run Quicken can be almost impossible. There are times however, when all of a sudden the Windows side it very responsive. Maybe less than 10% of the time. Restarting MacOS or Windows 11 does not fix the problem. I'm about to punt on Parallels and buy an inexpensive Windows laptop just to run Quicken. I check activity monitor and nothing seems to be hogging CPU, in fact all six cores seem to be very low utilization. Any suggestions?
