Parallels Desktop 20 for Mac updates summary

It's been several months now since the 55996 update dropped for the v20 branch. Meanwhile, v26 has gotten update after update since August. So what's the deal? When are we actually going to see the next update (or final update) for v20? We're not even asking for new features here - just bug fixes would be nice ie. Windows 11 / Coherence background corruption ...

 

I migrated from my old 2013 intel iMac that was running Parallels and Windows 10 flawlessly, to a 2026 M4 Mac Studio. I paid for Parallels 26. It won't install Windows. It won't finish setting up the virtual machine and is stuck in a loop of returning the same error message, "There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine." Parallels support is so far absent and not helpful. I use software for design for my small business and right now it looks like my Parallels was a wasted purchase.
