I just finished an install of my debian (7.8) on parallels virtual machine and I'd love to be able to share the linux folders with the osx platform. Any ideas on how that might be done ? Problem with google is that most people talk about windows or doing it the other way around (which is easy). __________________ Itransition
Hi Marc, just replied in this topic that it's not currently supported by Parallels Desktop. Use Linux sharing over network
Yep, most guides ignore macOS for some reason, but it's actually pretty straightforward. In Parallels, just turn on shared folders in the VM settings (Options → Sharing), and your Mac files should show up in Debian under /media/psf. If that acts up, you can always use a simple SMB share from macOS and mount it in Debian with cifs.
