    Hi everyone,
I've been a Windows user for... <counting>... forever but recently bought an M4 MacBook Pro and have been adapting to the Mac. One thing that has not worked out is using Outlook Desktop for Mac. It's so crippled compared to Outlook Desktop for Windows. So I just set that up to run in Windows using Parallels in Coherence mode.
Is it possible for links in emails opened on Outlook Windows to open in the default browser (Chrome) in the Mac instead of within Windows? It's getting confusing to have Chrome Mac and Chrome Windows instances running.

Yes (I'm in the same situation - a lot of Office apps for Mac are rubbish compared to the Windows version so you need to run Office in Windows).

Go to Windows taskbar. Select 'apps' then default apps. This should show apps on both Windows and Mac.
Search for Chrome on Mac. Click on it and select 'set default' to make it your default browser regardless of where you open the URL.

NB - you'll also see a list of file types that show the default app for each of them so you can adjust your preferences further.
