Does Parallels RAS support FIDO2 security key support when user login remote session? If RAS is not support it, Please add this function on enhancement. Currently several customers are thinking this function on their internal environment because FIDO2 architechture is benefit for password less operation. And it will be easy use at end user side.
Hi @KazunoriS, Could you please clarify whether you are referring to Using FIDO2 security keys for authentication to Parallels RAS (pre-session login) or Redirecting FIDO2 security keys into the remote session for in-session use? If you are referring to FIDO2 device redirection inside the remote session, this capability was introduced in Parallels RAS v21.1, released on February 26. Hi @FreeK Berson, Thank you for the clarification. For us, the need is for FIDO2/WebAuthn authentication to Parallels RAS itself before the remote session starts, and not only FIDO2 device redirection inside the session. Support for this in both: - the Parallels RAS Client - the Parallels RAS Web interface Would be very valuable for organizations that want stronger authentication and passwordless sign-in. Could you please comment on whether this is currently planned, or being considered for the roadmap?
