We have been running Metastock 11 and Microsoft 365 under Parallels on an old mac book pro. We plan to run Metastock and Microsoft 365 under Parallels on a new M3 iMac 24.
Are there any known issues doing this with Metastock 11 and Microsoft 365?
Will we need to purchase windows 11 ARM?

    Hi Ian5,
I have not found any known issues with Metastock in our records.

What is your old Mac model? Is it an Intel one or M1/M2? If you are happy with M1/M2, then there should be no issues with M3. If you are happy with Intel, then Windows on Arm compatibility might be an issue, but thanks to the recent progress in emulation, it most likely won't be.

You don't need a Windows license that is specific to Arm, the Windows license is valid for both Intel and Arm. However, there might be restrictions in moving your license from one copy of Windows to another or some other specifics. You better check your Windows license agreement to be sure.

Does anyone have experience running Metastock 19 with Apple silicon? I have a macBook Pro M2 Max with 32 gb ram, 12 cores (16 gig and 6 cores for the virtual machine) running Metastock 19 DC with Refinitiv Xenith data and it is very slow.
