Hi, Do anyone have some news regarding the SSO-feature with the Parallels client, the option is not there like it used to be in the older IGEL OS 11. Simply no setting to configure sso. Br Anders
I'm also very interested by this feature. It's very sad that options that was working so fine in IGEL OS 11 are not availlable in IGEL OS 12
I've an open request feature open with Parallels. Maybe with the version 21 that supposed to be release by the end of the year
Hello, today I installed Client Version 21.0.26253 BUILD 1.0. It's the latest version. But I still can't find an option to use SSO. I have to login twice. The first time to open the farm and the second time to Login into my Desktop. Is this the same behaviour as you have? Greetings
UPDATE (after a few restarts): Seems working with activated "Auto Login"-Option. But, for me, there were a few restarts necessary.
As of now, the Parallels Client doesn't expose the SSO settings on IGEL OS 12 -- seems that feature worked under OS 11, but it's missing in 12 so far. Until Parallels adds appropriate SSO support for IGEL 12, you may need to wait for a future update or use another supported OS or client if you need SSO to function.
Hi, this make the IGEL OS12 kind of useless when running with this scenario and Parallels RAS. Scenario - We have multiple users doing unique logins to the Igel OS 12 - Running with Parallels client - Tried both on-prem AD authention and EntraID. same issue the SSO feature does not work. - Running with on-prem AD does work, but then when the first user try to save credentials in the Parallels client, once the next user login against the device, the last user login is persisted in the Parallels client. Is our scenario running with Parallels RAS something that is unique? Must be alot more that have the same issue as we experience. The above scenario was working perfectly with Igel OS 11, so the whole setup with separate applications outside the base OS is a mess. Br Anders
Hi, short update.. I created a unique policy in the RAS console against the devices with IGEL OS12. So far it seems to work with SSO and with unique logins
I was to quick to call this working, the credentials are still persistent when the next user login and when the Parallels client start. So its basically inherited from the first user that starts Parallels
