Hello, I have had OpenBSD running under Parallels since OpenBSD 7.5 (console only, which is fine since it acts as a router/firewall for all my other virtual machines) and it's been great even though not officially supported. Unfortunately this all changed when I moved from 26.1.2 to 26.2.0; OpenBSD now stops at the boot> prompt (after saying it sees sd0 and apparently picks up the "set tty fb0" I have configured in /etc/boot.conf. Would be great if this could be fixed so I can get back to running a mini datacenter on the desktop with an updated Parallels version .. TorH
I just now reverted back to 26.1.2 and it works again, so I've got a functioning setup but would be great to be on the latest version of Parallels as I think there may be some fixes related to "dead zones" on the Linux desktop? TorH
Hi, I am having a situation installing OpenBSD 7.8 arm64 on an M1 Apple Silicon, and using Parallels Desktop Pro Edition v26.2.2 In my case, I got a blue screen with the logs and get stopped at prompting for Autoinstall Install ... I know you are commenting about OpenBSD stop booting after updating Parallels, but I was wondering if anyone has already faced this scenario. Thanks, Cheers!
