Parallels Tools not installing on M1 mac with Kali VM

Thought I'd let you know:
I recently upgraded to Parallels version 26.2.0 (57363) but Parallels Tools won't install on a new Kali Linux 2025.3 VM. After clicking on the exclamation mark in the right hand top corner, it will say 'Click Continue to connect the Parallels Tools installation CD to this virtual machine.' and then whatever I do, it won't install.
I have some other VM's already set up and there Parallels Tools was already (and is still) running fine. Also setting up a new Ubuntu VM Parallels Tools will install properly. Debian also goes fine. Just Kali doesn't.

I have M1 Mac with Tahoe 26.1.

 

Never mind, I've managed to solve the problem myself using an older forum topic.
