Client (Mac) sometimes loses full screen focus

I suspect this is either something new with macOS 26.1 (Tahoe) or a software conflict of some sort, but I typically run in full screen mode when connected to my Linux server. However, on occasion I will navigate back from doing something else on my Mac to see that I have exited full screen mode. As far as I know, the only way to do that is through pressing the Fn (function key) and the F key together. So, something is impacting my connection and existing full screen mode. I can simply re-apply the setting, but there is no toggle in the app's configuration that toggles this behavior.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix, or need I just apply the keystroke when it happens? It's not a big deal, but it is new and unexplained behavior.

I think I've narrowed this down a little. Waking my Mac from sleep seems to upset the full-screen mode of Parallels Client for Mac. This is the only app that behaves this way, but there are other apps that exhibit odd behavior (Webshots is one--it never wants to present a screen, but simply becomes a screen saver or just a menu on the menu bar. Oh, for the days when things like putting items on a screen weren't so complicated.
