    Hi All,

I'm new here, so I'm probably going to ask questions that have been asked, even though I could not find them through a search.

I have an M4 Mac running Tahoe 26.1. I have purchased Parallels Desktop and the latest Windows 11 Pro.

I have a couple of issues.
    1. I cannot get a desktop folder to show up in File Explorer in Win 11. I have tried adding a shortcut and a quick link, but neither worked. The shortcut showed up in File Explorer, but it contained nothing.
    2. When I delete something from Win 11, it does not move it to the recycle bin on Win 11; however, it places it in the Bin on the Mac. Is this expected?
    3. Can I have a desktop in Win 11 that does not have everything I have on my Mac desktop?
    4. Is there a quick function to swap between Windows and Mac? Like pressing a shortcut I have set up, like Cmd ⌘ Tab?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Rob

I'm running Windows 11 EDU under the same setup. No issues, runs fine so far.
    1. Not sure what you're referring to. File Explorer opens from the taskbar for me. Has it always been non-functional or was this recent?
2-3. Start with Isolate Windows from Mac, you've got them sharing everything right now. I normally run mine isolated for this very reason: I like Windows to be "Windows" and Mac to be "Mac" especially with regard to work-related stuff. If you're like that, use the Isolate feature.
    4. You can switch between desktops on macOS using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + Left Arrow or Ctrl + Right Arrow. If you have a Magic Trackpad, you simply swipe left to right with 3 fingers (or 4, depending on how you have it configured). Additionally, you can set up specific shortcuts for each desktop in System Preferences under Keyboard Shortcuts in the Mission Control section.
