ZORIN os

Hello

I tried to install zorin OS, linux variant into Parallels Desktop 11 but no luck, says no detection of this os.

ANyone else help?

 

getting same problem try lot of methods but cold not fix it

Zorin OS is officially not supported in Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. Here is the list of supporting Operating System in Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.

Zorin OS 18 works perfectly in Parallels Desktop 26 on Intel, where it is also present as an explicit Linux distribution to choose; on Apple Silicon, you can try it in emulation mode, but it will be really slow (Ubuntu, on which it is based, is a rather heavy distro).

No it's not working perfectly I would not have posted this. Tools didn't work for me and neither did the install? It was very slow hardware didn't seem correct? I will try again but it didn't work here.

 

^^^ Is your host (the Mac) Intel or Apple Silicon (M series)...? If the latter, Zorin OS will be very slow, as it would be x86_64 emulated on Arm. Which version of Parallels Desktop (the older versions probably don't have support for Zorin OS, even if it is based on Ubuntu)...? Other details...?
