Hi, We have a problem that all users experience, where the printers are not showing up in our TMS system. We have reported this to our TMS provider, but they claim that our printers are in STALE mode, which I completely disagree with. Please see their response below: "It looks like this user has the same thing, the same printer taking nearly 3 minutes to pull through. I have done some more digging on this because further up in both logs it mentions that the printer is 'STALE' Because the printer is deemed STALE, it does a full pull of the data. Previously in the logs, when it maps quickly, the entry doesnt mention a full pull I have discovered that the Parallels client holds a local cache of the printers. Which is supposed to detect printer changes on the local machine and periodically refresh the information on the existing printers. This happens at session start." So they claim it's our issue, but I have to strongly disagree. Even the "fake" printers are identified as STALE ? From my perspective, Parallels cannot read Printer Data hence why it's marking it as STALE. Restarting Parallels few times usually resolves the issue. Has anyone struggled with similar problems ? We were on Citrix before and not once this ever happened. Since moving to Parallels this happens daily.
