    Hi,

When sending numerical characters trough the android client they are seen as if the shift key ( is/is not ) pressed.

    Eg instead of 12345, i get !@#$%^&

For normal letters if functions perfectly.

We have already tried multiple combinations of keyboards etc to see if this matter but so far no difference, do we need to install a specific keyboard?

Hi @KimR8. Apologies regarding the issue. Can you provide more details about the remote app that you are using, as well as details about your device and Android version?

It sounds like the Android client is interpreting number inputs with the Shift key active. This is likely a keyboard mapping or input mode issue, not a specific keyboard problem. Check if the input method or language settings on the Android device are forcing symbol input. You could also try programmatically sending keycodes instead of characters to avoid this issue.

    Hi,

It looks like the numbers are being typed as symbols, almost like the Shift key is stuck. Since letters work fine, it's probably not a hardware issue. You've already tried different keyboards, which is great. You might not need a specific one, but it's worth double-checking how the input field is set up in your app--sometimes the input type can affect how characters are read. Let me know how it's currently set.

Hey everyone, responding to this thread! We would greatly appreciate if when reporting your issue, you could provide some additional information, like a phone/tablet model, Android OS version, and any keyboard specs? also if you are using a "regular" keyboard or a "PC keyboard" in the app. Thank you!
