After the latest update to version 20.3.0 my windows 11 began to behave strangely: when selecting multiple lines in excel, or when selecting multiple icons on the desktop hangs for 1-2 seconds, it extremely interferes with full-fledged work. I work on mac mini m4pro, but absolutely the same problem is present on macbook m3pro. Funny, if you roll back to version 20.2, this problem disappears. But what I find a bit frustrating is that on version 20.2 Parallels persistently wants to update to version 2.3.0, even though I have disabled update checking in the settings. Has anyone else experienced unstable parallels on version 20.3.0? The second problem that has been bugging me for quite some time is a strange clicking noise when playing music or voice conferences, this starts after 10-15 minutes of work and continues until I restart parallels. The clicking sounds to me like the processor is choking or not enough memory, but I have a huge reserve of resources. This problem is the same on m4pro and m3pro
Dear @Dimitriy2 Thank you for your feedback. We created an internal ticket in order to further investigate the issue you've mentioned. Please check your email [email protected] and provide us with the requested information. Thanks!
I'm having very similar performance issues with 20.3.0 with a Win 11 VM (OS Build 26100.3476) on Sequoia 15.4.1. Whenever I try to reposition windows (e.g., snapping to one side or the other), change between windows, or swap tabs in something like file explorer I am getting the spinning blue circle for 5-10 secs. In a few cases, I have had to physically force quit the VM and restart fresh. I have verified optimization is set to No Limit and Travel Mode is turned off. Prior to this update, I wasn't having any issues. I have searched everywhere on the Parallels site for download links to previous releases with no success. Where can I redownload 20.2.2 to revert back to the previous version?
I thought I was crazy too, but this is doing the same things for me. It's actually very annoying. I have 100% confirmed this has to do with the Parallels update.
Sorry...I'm only confirming the Excel issue. Can't confirm the other issues @Dimitriy2 reported commented on. I also believe something copy/paste or with the clipboard is also affected....but can't confirm that.
I never expected Parallels to release a version with such a critical bug. This issue is impacting 100% of my production performance. I've lost two full days assuming the problem was on the Windows side - reinstalling the operating system and troubleshooting without success. Even worse, I can't find a download link for version 20.2 to roll back.
And just for more information, Excel is not the only issue. Visual Studio is, renaming files, etc sometimes does this too. Cursor just goes busy. Can't figure out rhyme or reason to this.
100% of the problems that will recur in win10: press and hold the left mouse button on any interface, and then drag the mouse to the edge of the screen. At this time, release the mouse. The mouse must be in a waiting state. The mouse can move but cannot operate anything until 3 seconds later
