Migrate an x86 PVM to Apple silicon c/emulation, then up-install to Win 11 ARM?

    Hi.
I have a Win 10 x86 VM from my trusty old 2012 intel Macbook Pro. I've recently acquired a new-used 2023 M3 Max Macbook Pro.
Can I migrate the x86 image, using the new experimental emulation mode, then install Win11 ARM over the top of it, and thereafter switch to virtualization? I'd like to preserve the data and apps already installed, including registry whatsits and so on, without having to reinstall stuff (Visual Studio, LabVIEW, R).
    Thanks!

(apologies if this is a re-ask)

Unfortunately there is no way to migrate an entire virtual machine from the X 86 architecture to the new ARM architecture M series processors. You can migrate data of course, but you do have to start with a fresh virtual machine running Windows 11 for the ARM architecture, and install applications that are 64 bit.
