The Xbox controller is not working on MacOS Sequoia Beta 15.4.
Although it is recognized in 'Joy.cpl', the buttons and axes do not actually move.
I understand that it is difficult for Parallels to support the Beta update.
However, I hope we can resolve this issue in preparation for the April release.

    System:
    Apple M1 Pro
    16GB
    Sequoia Beta 15.4
    VPC: Windows 11 Home 24H2
    Parallels Desktop 20 for Mac v20.2.2 (55879)

I have the same problem and it's very frustrating.
The best is to avoid beta software from apple in the future, no matter if on iOS or Mac.
    Just spare yourself the trouble.

    hello!
Do you have macOS 15.4 beta 2 installed? beta 2 release notes say the issue is fixed in beta 2:
    • Fixed: Game controllers might stop responding when accessibility features, such as Voice Over, are enabled. (141497799)

Yes, I have already updated to macOS 15.4 beta 2, but the issue remains unresolved. I have also checked VoiceOver and it is turned off. I have never used it.

    Just not be confused.
I mean that the Xbox Controller is not working under Windows as of Sequoia on Beta 4.
    It's working under MacOs.

Hi, any update on this? I'm having the same issue. I updated to macOS 15.4 (official release, not the beta) and now the xbox controller won't work on the parallels windows 11 VM. Other bluetooth devices (mouse, headphones) work fine.

As of 15.5 Beta 1 it's not working.
I wish I knew if the Playstation controller works so I would buy that just to get going again.

Nope. Playstation 4 controller not working either.

I'm playing Binding of Isaac. The game detects a controller, but none of the buttons do anything. Worked fine before 15.4.

Same issue here on a MacBook Pro M2 Pro and on latest official macOS Sequoia update 15.4. I am not using Voice Over and it is deactivated.
The Xbox Controller is working under MacOs but not with Windows and it doesn't not work if I plug it with usb neither. Mouse and keyboards are working wirelessly as usual on both macOS and Windows.

The title of the bug should be changed to refer to the release version of 15.4. This is not just a beta bug.

I have this issue also. Since updating to 15.4 my PS controller doesn't work and gaming is one of the main reasons I bought Parallels.

    Hi !
Is there a way you could update the title of the page, as the bug should be changed to refer to the release version of 15.4. This is not just a beta bug and is an actual issue with the latest 15.4 release.

    Title is updated.
The team is looking into this.

If you have access to Apple Feedback Assistant through macOS Beta or Developer Program, please submit this feedback as well. It will help Apple to prioritize it accordingly in case there are changes required on macOS side.

Ugh, same here My controller was working fine before the update, but after upgrading to macOS Sequoia 15.4, it just stopped responding completely I tried resetting Bluetooth settings and even re-pairing it, but no luck so far. Anyone found a fix yet? Or is this a known bug in 15.4?

Sadly, the Virtual Controller isn't working for me either, and neither is connecting via Bluetooth or USB with Sequoia 51.4, Windows 11, Parallels 20.

It's known now for 6 weeks and there is still no fix neither from apple nor parallels.

I'm also having this issue. I just bought Parallels to game on my M4 MacBook Pro running MacOS Sequoia 15.4, and the Xbox One S controller paired over bluetooth is recognized as an Xbox 360 controller. It works on MacOS itself, just not in Parallels. When I try to test the inputs in Steam, none of the buttons register, but when I click rumble, the controller vibrates. Device Manager shows the controller as an Xbox 360 controller which is weird.
