Hello everyone, I use Parallels to gain access to work software called XACTIMATE. Everything seems to work good except to see my set in 3d. It's frustrating that each time I click to see my sketch in 3d the entire app crashes and closes out completely. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and how to get it resolved, thank in advance.

I am having this issue as well. I am working on a solution. curious on what type of mac you are running? Model and year? I have a 2016 mac book pro that has not given me this issue until recently.

Hey there thanks for looking into it. I am currently on a MacBook Pro that I recently purchased in Nov 2024. If you found out anything please update me it's killing I have to have my PC next to me so it defeats the purpose of this Parallels program.

Same issue here at times. In the main screen of X1 go to Preferences, then Sketch and with from textured to classic view. This should resolve problem. It may only work for new sketches though

Hey! I have actually had the same problem using Xactimate on Parallels. Every time I try to open the 3D view, it crashes just like you said--super frustrating. What helped me was going into Parallels settings and switching the graphics from DirectX 11 to DirectX 10. Might be worth a shot! Hope it works for you too.

@OrionS , would you provide us with the steps you followed to switch to DirectX 10?
