    Hello,

Some Windows apps are now starting to make HDR support mandatory, such as Vodafone TV (Spain).
It is currently impossible to use Vodafone TV in Parallels because of lack of HDR support.

Parallels 20 still does not yet support HDR.

    For Developer QA at Parallels:
    1. Google "HDR test webpages", including the testufo one and the gregbenz photography one.
    2. Upgrade your QA department with at least one good HDR display.
    3. Also include some HDR videos and HDR videogames too

Most LCDs have terrible HDR support, but MacBook MiniLED screens with XDR, supports great HDR. So does the new MiniLED and OLED monitors. Just because HDR is awful on most displays -- doesn't mean HDR doesn't look amazing. For years, HDR looked worse than SDR because of cheap LCDs, so please don't decide against HDR because of QA test department is missing a good HDR display -- get at least one and test fully.

Many games now include HDR support, which only starts looking great when the display is able to peak at ~1500 nits for up to a few pixels (e.g. bright flames, bright sun glints on a chrome car, bright neons). Also, google "HDR brighter than white" for some HDR pixel demos.
